Fundraising

Fundraising is essential for the FAIC Volunteer Fire Department to operate. Auxiliary volunteers play a vital role in raising money through a variety of events and activities, such as:

  • Golf Tournaments

  • Bake sales

  • Silent auctions

  • Dinners

  • Grant writing

The money raised from these events is used to purchase new equipment and supplies, maintain the fire station and vehicles, and provide training for the volunteers.

Love to Bake?

We love to have bakers in our group of volunteers. We try to treat our firefighters with sweet treats and host bake sales and pie auctions.

Love to Plan and Decorate?

Auxiliary volunteers also help to decorate for parties and events at the fire station and community center. This can include setting up tables and chairs, hanging decorations, and preparing food and drinks. Auxiliary volunteers also help to clean up after the events are over.

Love Community?

The FAIC Volunteer Fire Department also operates a community center, which is used for various events and activities. Auxiliary volunteers help to keep the community center clean and in good repair. They also help set up and take down events and may also volunteer to work at the events themselves.

Auxiliary volunteers are essential to the success of the FAIC Volunteer Fire Department. They play a vital role in supporting the frontline volunteers and ensuring that the fire department can operate smoothly. If you are interested in volunteering with the auxiliary, don't hesitate to contact us today.

On the Front Lines

Frontline volunteers are the ones who respond to emergency calls and put their lives on the line to protect others. They may be involved in firefighting, emergency medical services, water rescue, vehicle extrication, or hazardous materials response. Become a Firefighter.
